found this forum through a google search on Xampp and ASP... 
somewhat experienced with computers, and have experience with html, and learning to use php and asp, so i can eventually find a paying job as a programmer, as it is for now, am going to help a friend do some conversion from asp to php
quick learner, interested in learning more about programming
great to have run across this forum... seems a lot of educated and experienced programmers here

as it is now, needing to figure why xampp does not display the asp pages correctly
have made some comments on the thread in another section, 
not sure where to put a new thread if i start one
