Firefox 3.6 Windows 7 Integration: Aero Peek Tab Preview
« on: May 09, 2010, 08:56:28 PM »
I've been wondering for some time why the cool "Aero peek" feature that lets you preview each tab that you have open as if it were a separate window doesn't work in FF 3.6 by default, since I'm pretty sure I recall that feature working in the betas.

After a quick Google search, I found the answer, along with instructions for a couple of additional fun features...

I agree with the author - it doesn't make any sense why Mozilla doesn't enable these features by default. Maybe because some poor saps are stuck with video cards not supporting Aero Peek?

No, if you use it long enough you will notice there are issues... The previews sometimes won't even load at all. The loading icon will just never go away. They couldn't get it fixed in time so they disabled it by default ;-)
