So Google Chrome keeps on completing what I am typing in the address bar, and it is ANNOYING!

I attached a picture of what is happening. When I type weather, I want to be able to hit enter and search for weather... But noooo, it adds .com to it, and then makes me go to weather.com, which I do not want.

Just hit backspace then enter lol

Extra .1s, but it's worth it from when its useful.

Whats more annoying is when you type in localhost...

You mean like how Google Chrome thinks you are searching for localhost?

Yeah, but when that happened a little bar at the top appeared and said "Did you mean http://localhost/?"

That one annoys me a lot. There should be a custom rule in Chrome that auto-suggests http://localhost/ every time.

I'm not having that issue. When I type weather in the address bar, the first option that comes up is to search Google for Weather.

Which version of Chrome are you using? I've got 5.0.375.125 beta...

Go to weather.com first, the actual site. You will then have that issue.

soren121 said the same thing, then after I told him to go to weather.com and try again he said "Oh, now I get it." ;)

One question... Why on earth do you have Bing Search in Chrome? :P
